Nacho was part of a large welfare case where hundreds of small rodents were removed from one household and taken in by multiple rescues across the country.
This young man is very busy and loves his food. He’s fine with calm handling, on his own terms. He is very fun to watch exploring his enclosure and stuffing his cheeks!
Nacho needs a minimum enclosure size of 100x50cm with a 20cm or larger wheel, a multichamber hide, sand bath, lots of enrichment and at least 6 inches of safe substrate to burrow in. He’s currently living in a 100cm Bucatstate enclosure and enjoying Getzoo dwarf hamster food!
